Legislative Updates
The Mongolian Parliament has adopted amendments to the Company Law, introducing new requirements for corporate governance and board composition for publicly traded companies. These changes take effect from July 1, 2026.
Tax Authority Guidance
The General Tax Authority has issued new guidance on transfer pricing documentation requirements for transactions between related parties. Companies with intercompany transactions exceeding MNT 1 billion are required to prepare contemporaneous documentation.
